The YMCA George Williams College has one of the best specialist libraries in the UK in the area of informal education and youth work. The Library and its private study facilities are available to all registered students on full time, distance-learning and College recognised courses. The Library holds a unique collection of materials related to informal and community education. It has been built up over many years through purchase and by donations of specialist collections from people in the field. We now hold over 25,000 items. [More about us]

Using other libraries with SCONUL Access Inter-library lending
SCONUL Access is a scheme which allows many university library users to borrow or use books and journals at other libraries which belong to the scheme. The scheme covers most of the university libraries in the UK and Ireland. You will need to be fully registered with CCCU and have obtained a smartcard before you can apply for SCONUL Access. Complete the online SCONUL Access application form here to see if you are eligible. For more information please see the SCONUL Access user guide or CCCU's Library webpage.
